On the occasion of the European Day of Languages we prepared a unique language competition – Spelling Bee. The event was in the spirit of playfulness but also healthy competitiveness and tested how well the pupils know how to spell and form words in English.
The competition involved pupils from Year 5 to Year 9 who competed in five age categories. Each category had tasks adapted to the age and language level of the contestants – from simple words to more difficult word challenges that tested not only memory but also the ability to concentrate under pressure.
The results will be published at the end of the year when we will summarise and reward the achievements of our pupils.
