Also this year our school took part in a rhetoric competition called Štúrov Zvolen. Back in May there was a regional round, which I, Nina Lušňáková, won in the II. category, and so I advanced to the national round, which took place in 11. and 12 June in Zvolen. On the first day I attended a workshop in rhetoric, where we practiced tongue twisters and learned about non-verbal communication. On Thursday, June 12, all the contestants met at the Zvolen Castle, where we measured our strength not only in speaking but also in writing speeches on the drawn topic. In the beautiful premises of the castle we, pupils, teachers and parents, enjoyed a pleasant morning and lunch. In the end, we all left with a wonderful experience and experiences to last a lifetime.
