The eighth-graders (VIII.EA, VIII.EB) presented their DNA models, and many of them really put a lot of effort into them. Some were meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail—including the correct labeling of the nitrogenous bases and a depiction of the double helix structure. One functional model, powered by a small motor and capable of rotating, also deserves special praise. The students demonstrated a great deal of creativity and technical skill.
