eTwinning Project – One History, One Story

Our students have joined the international eTwinning project “One History, One Story – Childhood in Czechoslovakia,” through which they will collaborate with students from the Czech Republic throughout the school year. The goal of the project is to explore together what childhood was like for our parents and grandparents in the former Czechoslovakia, to compare life then and now, and to create a shared interactive museum of memories.
We kicked off the project with an introductory phase focused on getting to know one another. Using artificial intelligence tools, the students created creative “Instagram” profiles through which they introduced themselves, their interests, and their personalities to their partner students from the Czech Republic. The activity combined digital skills, creativity, and modern technology, while also allowing students to take the first step toward building new friendships and collaboration. We look forward to the next phases of the project and to jointly discovering childhood stories that connect generations in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
