Bee Day

24.4.25 was our bee day – about the queen, the hive and how honey is made. There was also a creative workshop where children made their own scented candles from beeswax. The nice weather lured us to the atrium today for the workshops at the private primary school on Oravská cesta in Žilina. First, 2 classes enjoyed a creative workshop on beeswax and then 2 more classes took turns in the workshop on bees. 🐝 🐝 A sweet tasting of honey 🍯🍯 was the best ending. Thank you to our lecturer Katarina Ofukana aka the beekeeper’s wife.
