eTwinning Inside Out – Escape Games

In the next phase of the Inside Out project, students explored topics related to the digestive and excretory systems. The activity combined biological knowledge with international collaboration, digital tools, and logical thinking. Using shared documents, the students divided into international teams, with each group consisting of at least one Slovak and one Czech student. Each team chose a specific organ and then researched information about it. They posted their findings, interesting facts, and materials on a shared Padlet board. The activity culminated in two online escape games created using the information the students had previously shared with one another. To solve them, the students had to read carefully, understand the text, quickly navigate the information they had gathered, and solve mathematical problems hidden in ciphers and codes. This phase of the project demonstrated that biology can be taught in an experiential and creative way. The students expanded their knowledge of the human body, developed teamwork skills, digital literacy, and the ability to connect knowledge across multiple subjects.
