Vienna – Technical Museum and Schönbrunn

On Wednesday 26.11.2025 our pupils from grades 6.-9. 6 – 7 took part in an excursion to Vienna, during which they visited the Technical Museum and the Christmas market at Schönbrunn Palace. The programme was varied and took place in a wonderful Advent atmosphere full of lights, colours and experiences. At the Technical Museum, pupils explored interactive exhibits ranging from historical inventions to modern technology. They were able to try out many of the principles of physics, transport and energy for themselves, which made the tour even more interesting. In the afternoon, they were welcomed by the magical atmosphere of Vienna’s Christmas markets. The scent of gingerbread, mince pies, traditional delicacies and handicrafts created a pleasant festive atmosphere, complemented by the glowing backdrop of Schönbrunn Palace. The excursion was informative, fun and our pupils certainly took home a lot of new knowledge and wonderful experiences.
