The life and work of our ancestors

Today, seventh graders from the 7th grade SVB prepared for our school community an extraordinary afternoon full of tradition, creativity and the joy of discovery. As part of projects on the theme The Life and Work of Our Ancestors, they transformed themselves into tinkers, confectioners, weavers, bakers, potters, beekeepers and shepherds. In beautiful folk costumes, they presented the crafts and everyday life of past generations, telling engagingly about their work and customs.
During the presentations, the pupils developed their presentation skills, learned to work together and enthusiastically passed on new knowledge. Their efforts and performances were appreciated by the audience, which included parents and grandparents – who were rightly proud of their children.
The pleasant atmosphere of the event was topped off with a delicious treat. Sweet bublanina, fragrant cake and traditional Christmas cake delighted all the trick-or-treaters, while lovers of savoury delicacies enjoyed cheese threads and bryndza spread with fresh bread.
Thank you to all the pupils and teachers for a beautiful event that reminded us of the value of traditions and the skill of our ancestors.
