Getting to know each other in eTwinning projects can take different forms, but the way we chose was completely new and special for our pupils. We took a close-up of each pupil’s eye and then compared these photos with the people in the class photo.
We used Padlet for the implementation, where pupils guessed who each eye belonged to through comments. Slovak pupils guessed their Czech counterparts and vice versa, which created natural interaction and curiosity.
The result was an extremely engaging and fun activity that effectively fostered first contacts between partners.
