As part of the Inside Out project, students agreed on their next creative activity during a joint online meeting with their partner school. Each school chose a different topic—the Slovak students wrote a **story about a blood cell**, while their Czech partners created a story about oxygen. Our students first worked together to develop an outline and think through the plot of the story. They then wrote their own text, in which they explained the role of blood cells in the human body in an engaging way. They presented their work to the partner school and also creatively adapted it into a comic strip.
The activity combined knowledge of biology with creative writing, fostering imagination, teamwork, and digital skills. At the same time, the students realized that even specialized topics can be presented in an interesting and engaging way.
