Today we were discovering the magic of the Chrast’ Forest Park

Today the fifth graders took part in an experiential search game in the Chrasť Forest Park, where we were accompanied by a great lecturer duo – Mrs. Tinka and Mr. Jakub and a four-legged helper dog Graso.
During the walk we stopped at 5 stations where we got to know different types of trees, streams and natural places. We learned more about the importance of the forest park for the city and nature.
The challenges at the stations tested our attention and team spirit – and when we had solved them all, we discovered the hidden secrets of this beautiful place. At the last stop, we took stock of the event, talked about what we found most interesting and what new things we had learned. Although the weather had prepared for us a slightly cooler version of autumn 🍂, our pupils were persistent.
Spending a biology lesson outdoors, in nature, is sometimes more than just learning – it is discovering, exploring and perceiving the world around us with all our senses.
