On Friday the pupils 6. and 7th grade of our school participated in an event organized by the Gymnasium Rajec on the occasion of the European Day of Languages. The whole morning was marked by getting to know the countries and languages of Europe.
Our pupils were given passports with which they could “travel” through the different stations, take knowledge quizzes and learn interesting facts about different cultures. There was also a tasting of typical national dishes, which delighted everyone and brought the atmosphere of real travelling.
The organizers also prepared competitions and valuable prizes for the participants, which motivated the pupils to participate in the activities with even more enthusiasm.
The event was not only an opportunity for our sixth and seventh graders to learn new facts about Europe, but also to experience linguistic diversity in a friendly and creative atmosphere. Thank you to the Rajec Gymnasium for the invitation and the excellent organisation of this inspiring day.
