The Faculty of Education (PF) of the University of Prešov (PU) in Prešov organized for the tenth time the traditional final round of the Logical Olympiad for pupils with general intellectual talent in Slovakia. 170 intellectually gifted pupils out of a total of 2271 registered took part in the finals.
The final round of the Logic Olympiad took place on 25 April and was attended by 84 intellectually gifted pupils in category A and 86 in category B. Out of a total of 170 contestants, 124 were boys and 46 were girls. These are intellectually gifted students advancing from the school rounds of the competition. The contestants tested their abilities in solving problems focusing on logical, mathematical and spatial reasoning and verbal reasoning. In category B, Jessica Kobolkova (VIII.EB) was ranked 27th and Andy Pavelka (VIII.EB) was ranked 32nd. Congratulations to them for their achievements.
