Excursion in Banská Štiavnica

On Monday 12. We spent September with our eighth and ninth graders in a somewhat unconventional way with Andrej Sládkovič and his Marína at the Bank of Love in Banská Štiavnica.
Here, in Marína’s house, their story of eternal love was brought to life by talking paintings and we resurrected Sládkovič’s verses with the help of magic handles, measured our relationship with our friends on the unique Love Meter and finally we visited the unique Vault of Love, where behind every letter of 2910 Sládkovič’s love verses there is a box for the safekeeping of the most precious human emotion for any of us who want to share it with a close person – a husband, a mother, a friend, a classmate…
So if you want to learn more about Andrej Sládkovič than is in the literature textbook and you have enough love for the people around you, we highly recommend a visit to the ancient mining town with the bonus of other historical monuments…
