Discussion in geography class

With the eighth graders we revived our geography lesson by inviting a very special guest,who devoted part of his life to folk traditions and dance in his region – Mrs. Mária Panáková. She not only told us a lot of experiences during her several years in the Rozsutec ensemble, but she also introduced us to many “dance costumes”- costumes, she introduced us to many customs of people living in different regions of Slovakia. We had the privilege to see and try on some of the costumes with our own eyes, we even saw for the first time a 100 year old, hand embroidered shirt.
