We did a practical activity “From seed to plant” with the pupils of the 6th grade in the context of learning about germination and germination conditions. Last week we planted rye seeds and after the weekend we could already observe the first green parts of the plants. Some seeds still need time to grow, but others have already grown nicely, which allowed the pupils to observe the differences in germination.
We decorated the plants together and the pupils took them home as a nice Easter decoration. The activity connected learning about nature with creativity and brought the pupils joy with their own plants 🌱🌸
