On Friday, September 25, 2026, our fifth-, sixth-, and seventh-graders participated in the Language Festival at SNP Square in Rajec, which was organized by the local high school.
Several booths featuring foreign languages were set up in the square, where students symbolically “traveled” to various countries, learned about their cultures, and sampled delicious international specialties. In addition, they were able to enjoy a supporting program that included sports competitions, face painting, and even photo opportunities with the Šošoňov mascot.
We wrapped up a day full of new knowledge and culinary experiences on a high note, as several of our students managed to win wonderful prizes in the final raffle. We all thoroughly enjoyed the festival and are already looking forward to next year’s event!
