Visit to the British Centre in the Regional Library

On 13. April pupils 7. years visited the British Centre, which has its department in the Regional Library in Žilina. For some it was an interesting opportunity to get and borrow various English language titles from fiction – works by classic and contemporary English authors, textbooks and tests to practice grammar, vocabulary and to strengthen language skills. Pupils also learnt that the Centre also offers a variety of English language periodicals, information on the realities of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, CD-ROMs, CDs, DVs and advice on the Cambridge exams.
The pupils enjoyed their time at the British Centre and we are delighted that the Library has gained new and, we hope, active members of the Reading Club.
