Excursion in Mochovce

On 25.4.2022 the pupils 8. and 9th grade set out to discover the history of Slovak energy to Energoland – the science park of the Mochovce nuclear power plant. Students were very interested in the interactive exhibits, they tried how much energy it takes to recharge a phone battery, what is the power of electrostatic energy and what it can do to your hair, and in the 3D cinema they saw the different forms of energy in the universe from its birth to the present day. And since we had nice weather on the day of the excursion, we could also visit the Mlyňany Arboretum, where the staff of the Slovak Academy of Sciences told us about the North American and East Asian dendroflora.
