Štúrov Zvolen is considered to be the most demanding Slovak language competition. In it, the contestants have to convince the judges not only of their excellent linguistic style, but also of their creativity and oratorical charisma. The younger contestants will draw a text, which they will reproduce in their own words and complete the conclusion. Older speakers will first give a prepared speech and then, after 15 minutes of preparation, give a speech on the topic they have drawn. How did our girls do?
Viktória Vydrová, VI.SA won in 1. ktg. honorable mention and in 2. ktg. Nina Lušňáková, IX.NA won and from the 1st place advanced to the national round in Zvolen.
