The Russian Word is a competition in the recitation of original and own artistic works in the Russian language designed for pupils of primary, secondary and higher schools. The aim is to deepen pupils’ interest in the Russian language and Russian culture. The theme for the 17th time. of this year’s competition was World of Nature \/ World of Nature.<\/p>\n
Our school was well represented by the sixth graders. They are only in their second year of learning Russian, but they came, they saw and they won. In the 2nd category (2nd grade elementary school) the jury was impressed by Sofia Ko\u0161\u010dov\u00e1, VI.SA – she won 1. place with a prose recitation of the Russian folk tale The Fox and the Thrush. We also did well in collective singing, six sixth graders (S.Ko\u0161\u010dov\u00e1, L.Uhl\u00e1rik – VI.SA, K.Britv\u00edkov\u00e1, K.Jan\u00edkov\u00e1, V. Peterkova, V. Poto\u010dov\u00e1, VI.SB) sang 1. place. We keep our fingers crossed for the winners in the national round, which will be soon 17.2.2023 in Ko\u0161ice.<\/p>\n
