After spring break we went on a field trip to the New Synagogue in \u017dilina with V.FB and V.FA. During the presentation, we learned about the history of the New Synagogue, saw its original form in period photographs and learned what purpose it served at that time and how it was transformed and reshaped into its current form. In the second part of the presentation we had the opportunity to see the monumental 17-metre work Sph\u00e9ra by Juraj G\u00e1bor. Class V.FA personally talked directly with its author Juraj G\u00e1bor. The pupils from class V.FB were very creative and had to think about what could fill the Sphere, as the work resembles a huge bowl. The children modelled trampolines, balls, ufos, various characters and animals. Pupils of both classes took away very nice experiences from the excursion in Sph\u00e9ra.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
