This month we announced a competition in&nbsp;programming in&nbsp;the Scratch environment. The theme and&nbsp;assignment at the same time was to program a game with&nbsp;any focus. 7 games were shortlisted and the second grade pupils had the opportunity to play them:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>X F1 Racing &#8211; D. M\u00fcllner (VI.SB) &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/686241025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Frog and flies &#8211; L. M\u00fcllnerov\u00e1 (VI.SB) &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/685026857\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Flappy Bird &#8211; M. Pintrava (V.FA) &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/688854187\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Ghostline Miami &#8211; M. Jaro\u0161 et al. &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/693479583\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Space &#8211; M. Kuric (VI.SA)- <a href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/682339767\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Dangerous strawberries &#8211; T. Metelka (VIII.EA) &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/692434668\/\">link<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Ace&#8217;s Nightmare &#8211; F. Krutil (VI.SA) &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/684618535\/\">link<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The pupils, as judges, evaluated 3 areas: the control, the graphic design of the game and&nbsp;the overall impression. Here are the results:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best controls:<\/strong> game Space (324 points)<br \/><strong>Best graphics:<\/strong> frog and flies (321 points)<br \/><strong>Best overall impression:<\/strong> X F1 Racing (336 points)<\/p>\n<p>May&#8217;s Scratch champion with&nbsp;the highest number of points 956 is <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><br \/>\n  <strong>Milan Kuric<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span> (VI.SA) with the game Space. Congratulations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, a huge appreciation goes to all the participants, because they proved that they are talented programmers and such a challenge is not a problem for them.
