AI doesn&#8217;t replace teachers here &#8211; it <strong>empowers them<\/strong>, saves time on routines and allows them to focus on what matters most: the children, their development, their strengths and their joy of discovery. <\/p><p>Teachers at our school use AI in many areas, always taking a safe and ethical approach, without working with pupils&#8217; personal data.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-60d6aef elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"60d6aef\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">AI as a support for explaining the curriculum<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f5956c2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f5956c2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Teachers use AI to explain difficult concepts simply, clearly and understandably.<\/p><p><strong>AI can help us in this context:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>create alternative explanations of the curriculum,<\/li><li>adapt the content of language and non-language subjects to the level of the pupil (A1 &#8211; B2, as appropriate),<\/li><li>offer pictures, metaphors and examples,<\/li><li>visually represent the processes,<\/li><li>simulate real situations or phenomena.<\/li><li>As a result, children learn faster, with less frustration and more understanding.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3822c41 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3822c41\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">AI for differentiation - a school tailored to each pupil<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-811b44c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"811b44c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Every pupil is different. Thanks to AI, we can prepare content: <\/p><ul><li>for gifted pupils (extended tasks, challenges),<\/li><li>for pupils with SEN (simpler texts, picture explanations),<\/li><li>for pupils with weaker foundations or language barriers,<\/li><li>for children who need more steps, more examples or a slower pace.<\/li><\/ul><p>AI helps teachers make teaching fair and inclusive.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4e3e280 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"4e3e280\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">AI as a creator of interactive educational applications<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e7afd49 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e7afd49\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This is one of the most cutting-edge uses of AI in our schools &#8211; and something that is still almost non-existent in mainstream schools.<\/p><p>Teachers can use AI to program their own online apps, completely without coding knowledge.<\/p><p>For example, we use:<\/p><p><strong>Canva Code for Me<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>generation of interactive widgets, for example:<ul><li>English language: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/creative-taboo-card-game-for-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">taboo game to practise professions<\/a><\/li><li>English language: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/anj-aplikacia-na-precvicovanie-slovicok\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">universal vocabulary practice app<\/a><\/li><li>computer science: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/inf-cezarova-sifra\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Caesar cipher (encoder, decoder)<\/a><\/li><li>computer science: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/inf-triediace-algoritmy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">simulator of sorting algorithms<\/a><\/li><li>computer science: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/webinar-inf-koder-a-dekoder-morseovky\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">morse encoder and decoder<\/a><\/li><li>inforamtics: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/inf-simulator-cyklov-for-a-while\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">simulator of cycles <em>for <\/em>a <em>while<\/em><\/a><\/li><li>computer science: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/inf-jednoduchy-program-na-algoritmizaciu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">simple program for algorithmization<\/a><\/li><li>Physics: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/fyz6-latky-vs-telesa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">practising discrimination of substances and bodies<\/a><\/li><li>Physics: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/fyz6-simulacia-vztlakove\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">buoyancy force simulator<\/a><\/li><li>Physics: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/fyz6-premena-jednotiek-objemu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">volume unit conversion practitioner<\/a><\/li><li>physics: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/interakt-vna-webov-aplik-cia-pre-graf-hustoty-vody-a-teploty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">graph of density versus temperature<\/a><\/li><li>Physics: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/fyz-8-premena-energie-simulacia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">energy conversion simulator (position and motion)<\/a><\/li><li>Physics: <a href=\"https:\/\/prievoznik.my.canva.site\/fyz9-transformator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">transformer simulation (input and output voltage)<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>games to practice:<ul><li>unit conversions,<\/li><li>vocabulary,<\/li><li>simple equations,<\/li><li>grammar in English or German,<br>&#8211; creating clicker cards, quizzes, simulations and visualizations.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Mizou (AI no-code app)<br>Here, teachers generate animations, dynamic simulations, search games, rewriting exercises and modular activities that students use on both mobile and desktop.<\/li><li>Simulations for science subjects<br>We use AI to create models and interactive visualisations of phenomena<\/li><\/ul><p>Children can play the animation, change the parameters and watch the result &#8211; this is 21st century education. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ca40c28 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ca40c28\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">AI for language and communication skills<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-33d1def elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"33d1def\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Teachers are also using AI to create:<\/p><ul><li>role-playing games,<\/li><li>simulated conversations,<\/li><li>&#8220;live&#8221; dialogues,<\/li><li>situational games (restaurant, airport, job interview),<\/li><li>communication scenes in English, German or Spanish.<\/li><\/ul><p>AI can play a role:<\/p><ul><li>of the passenger,<\/li><li>Teacher,<\/li><li>of the customer,<\/li><li>tourist,<\/li><li>a classmate from abroad,<\/li><li>or even a fictional character in CLIL projects.<\/li><\/ul><p>Children get a space where they can express themselves, practise language, make mistakes and learn in a safe environment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d9d309e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d9d309e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">NotebookLM - communication with summaries, notes and projects<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-14ab23d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"14ab23d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"3647\" data-end=\"3766\">We use NotebookLM as a modern digital workbook and multimedia learning space. We benefit from the fact that our school uses Google products as LMS. Our teachers use it as follows:  <\/p><p data-start=\"3768\" data-end=\"3826\"><strong data-start=\"3775\" data-end=\"3824\">Pupils can ask questions about what is not clear to them<\/strong><\/p><ul><li data-start=\"3827\" data-end=\"3931\">&#8220;Explain this part of the syllabus to me,&#8221;<\/li><li data-start=\"3827\" data-end=\"3931\">&#8220;Generate the content of this lesson for me, I&#8217;m a 6th grader,&#8221; <\/li><li data-start=\"3827\" data-end=\"3931\">&#8220;Write out the important information for me.&#8221;<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3933\" data-end=\"3988\"><strong data-start=\"3940\" data-end=\"3986\">Creating podcasts and explanatory recordings<br><\/strong>Students can have the material explained in audio form or create a short podcast on the topic themselves.<\/p><p data-start=\"4087\" data-end=\"4130\"><strong data-start=\"4094\" data-end=\"4128\">Videocasts with explanation of substance<br><\/strong>AI will prepare the script, structure, handouts and the learner will create their own video from it.<\/p><p data-start=\"4209\" data-end=\"4265\"><strong data-start=\"4216\" data-end=\"4263\">Interactive learning with teacher notes<br><\/strong>NotebookLM can work directly with materials uploaded by the teacher &#8211; students get precise explanations of the actual material covered, not generic internet answers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7bfdea3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7bfdea3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">AI supports creative projects and eTwinning<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fbb9bf6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fbb9bf6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Our school is known for its strong involvement in eTwinning. In this sense, AI helps us especially in: <\/p><ul><li>development of international project materials,<\/li><li>visualizing ideas,<\/li><li>creating digital presentations,<\/li><li>e-books, posters, websites,<\/li><li>translations and language control,<\/li><li>creating videos and audio for joint outputs.<\/li><\/ul><p>AI takes project-based learning to a whole new level.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f221a99 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f221a99\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">AI as a teacher's partner, not a substitute<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8c283e8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8c283e8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In our school, we use artificial intelligence to:<\/p><ul><li>promoted learning,<\/li><li>saved time,<\/li><li>helping pupils to understand the curriculum,<\/li><li>develop their creativity,<\/li><li>promoted individualisation,<\/li><li>expanding the possibilities for project activities,<\/li><li>while protecting their safety.<\/li><\/ul><p>For us, AI is a partner that makes work easier and opens new doors &#8211; not a substitute for human contact, empathy or pedagogical guidance.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-736394d e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"736394d\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How teachers use artificial intelligence in our school At our school, we see artificial intelligence as a tool that can make learning more accessible, understandable, personalised and creative at the same time.
