We see the use of artificial intelligence (AI) not only as a trend, but as a natural part of the future of education. We strive to make the most of the possibilities that AI offers &#8211; from the creation of working materials and interactive tasks, to supporting pupils in their learning, to effective teacher training.<br>Our goal is to make AI a practical tool for pupils and teachers alike, developing creativity, fostering critical thinking and opening up new horizons of knowledge. They show how AI can support teaching, develop critical thinking and help both teachers and pupils in real classroom practice.  This event is a continuation of the successful AI Day held in October last year.  <\/p><p data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"958\"><strong>What are AI Days 2.0?<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"958\">AI Days 2.0 brings concrete teaching demonstrations, hands-on workshops and expert inputs that demonstrate the use of AI directly in the educational process.<br>It is not about theory or futuristic visions, but about real experiences from school practice.<\/p><p data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"958\"><strong>Who are AI days for?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>primary and secondary school teachers of all subjects<\/li><li>school management and methodologists<\/li><li>educators who want to use AI in a meaningful way<\/li><\/ul><p>The event is open to all regardless of previous technology experience.<br>AI days are designed to be easy to understand, practical and immediately applicable in the classroom.<\/p><p><strong>Goals of AI Days 2.0<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>demonstrate the practical use of AI in the classroom<\/li><li>develop critical thinking and digital literacy<\/li><li>to encourage creativity and activity among pupils<\/li><li>show AI as a support tool, not a replacement for the teacher<\/li><li>bring inspiration directly from school practice<\/li><\/ul><p>The AI Days 2.0 programme consists of <b>demonstration lessons<\/b>, a hands-on <b>workshop for teachers<\/b> and an <b>expert lecture<\/b>.<\/p><p><strong>Timetable<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>9.55 &#8211; 12:30 &#8230; three open classes in computer science, English language and <span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.1px;\">history<\/span><\/li><li>13:00 &#8211; 14:00 &#8230; workshop <em>Vibe coding in teacher&#8217;s work<\/em><\/li><li>14:00 &#8211; 14:20 &#8230; Lecture <em>Advanced Teaching Techniques for the Use of AI<\/em><\/li><\/ul><div><i> <\/i><\/div><div><strong>Documents for action  <\/strong><\/div><ul><li>information poster &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sukrzsza.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/AI-dni-2.0-AI-dni-2.0.pdf\">download<\/a><\/li><li>trifold poster &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sukrzsza.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/AI-dni-2.0-trifold-AI-dni-2.0-trifold.pdf\">download<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5b67abd e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"5b67abd\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f9da0dd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f9da0dd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>Sample lesson: Creating a custom application and 3D object using AI<\/b><\/p><p>The first demonstration lesson took place in the subject of computer science and its aim was to show students that artificial intelligence does not have to be used only to generate texts. Pupils tried out how AI can help in the creation of digital applications and 3D objects. <\/p><p>At the beginning of the lesson, we discussed who is creating technology today and whether it always requires a professional programmer. The pupils then followed the process of how a simple educational application can be created using a text task (called a prompt). <\/p><p>After the first draft was created, an analysis followed &#8211; students evaluated what the app does well and what would need to be changed or added. An important part of this was the understanding that AI proposes the solution, but the final decision is always made by a human. <\/p><p>In the second part of the lesson, students worked with a tool for generating 3D models, where they created their own objects based on a text description. They then compared how accurately the AI understood the assignment and what needed to be refined in the description. <\/p><p><b>Sample lesson: CLIL Explorer &#8211; learning content in English<\/b><\/p><p>The second demonstration lesson linked English language and vocational content through a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach.<\/p><p>The students worked with a professional text in English, which was prepared using AI to be accurate in content but also linguistically appropriate to their level. The text also included comprehension questions and key technical terms. <\/p><p>As they work, teachers could use AI to quickly modify tasks according to students&#8217; needs &#8211; for example, to simplify explanations or prepare extension questions for more advanced students.<\/p><p>At the end of the lesson, pupils recorded a reflection on their learning &#8211; for example, a new concept they had understood or a new English word they had learnt.<\/p><p><b>Sample lesson: Interview with a historical figure<\/b><\/p><p>In the third demonstration lesson, we brought AI into the history classroom. Pupils interacted with an AI avatar of a historical figure and found out information about their life through conversation. <\/p><p>The pupils&#8217; task was to get:<\/p><ul><li>5 key facts from the life of a celebrity<\/li><li>one opinion or attitude that surprised them<\/li><li>During the conversation, pupils were aware of the difference between historical fact and interpretation and discussed which information needed to be verified from other sources.<\/li><\/ul><p>The goal of the lesson was not to learn &#8220;truth from AI&#8221;, but to develop critical thinking, the ability to ask questions and verify information.<\/p><p><b>Workshop for teachers: vibe coding in teacher&#8217;s work<\/b><\/p><p>The AI days also included a practical workshop for teachers called Vibe coding in the work of a teacher.<\/p><p>The workshop showed that teachers don&#8217;t have to be programmers to create their own digital tools. Using simple text instructions (prompts), AI can generate working prototypes of apps that teachers can use immediately in the classroom. <\/p><p>The principle of vibe coding is simple:<\/p><ul><li>to set a pedagogical goal<\/li><li>formulate a clear prompt<\/li><li>generate the first prototype<\/li><li>test and edit the result<\/li><\/ul><p>This approach allows teachers to quickly create interactive games, simulations or visualisations that promote active learning.<\/p><p><b>Lecture: advanced AI techniques<\/b><\/p><p>The AI Days programme concluded with an expert lecture focused on the advanced use of artificial intelligence in the work of teachers.<\/p><p>The lecture presented for example:<\/p><ul><li>AI as a research assistant when working with materials<\/li><li>AI as a creator of differentiated tasks for different levels of learners<\/li><li>AI as a tool for rapid preparation of teaching materials<\/li><li>AI as an assistant for response analysis and reflective learning<\/li><li>The focus was mainly on the practical use of AI in everyday pedagogical practice and how technology can save teachers time while improving the quality of teaching<\/li><\/ul><p><b>AI Days 2.0 showed that artificial intelligence can be a creative partner in schools to foster learning, creativity and critical thinking.<\/b><\/p><p>The most important message of the whole event was the realization that:<\/p><ul><li>AI does not replace the teacher or the student,<\/li><li>AI can help in discovering new ways of learning,<\/li><li>Decision-making, evaluation and critical thinking always remain in the hands of the individual.<\/li><\/ul><p>Our school wants to continue to develop modern approaches to education and to prepare pupils for a world in which digital technologies will Youth of the Slovak Republic. Thanks to this, we became a promo school that: <\/p><ul><li>presents practical applications of artificial intelligence in the classroom,<\/li><li>creates inspiring examples of good practice,<\/li><li>fosters professional debate on the opportunities and risks of AI in the school environment,<\/li><li>and above all, it opens its doors to teachers from other schools who want to see artificial intelligence in action.<\/li><\/ul><p>Our project day is called <i>AI for Good<\/i> &#8211; Artificial Intelligence in Service of a Better World. When AI brings history to life<\/strong><\/h6><p>Pupils created digital profiles of historical figures using AI and an Instagram profile generator. In the first phase, they had to use AI to trace and sort information about selected historical figures. They then used the generator to create a profile about the personality that informed about his or her life. We also discussed how modern technology can assist in learning about the past.   <\/p><h6><strong>2. When what (dis)makes a city disappears<\/strong><\/h6><p>Students identified visual smog and digital clutter in the urban environment (excessive advertising, cables, billboards, distractions) and prepared &#8220;before-after&#8221; versions using AI-enabled tools (e.g. generative completion\/retouch). They then evaluated how modifications change perceptions of safety, orientation and aesthetics, and discussed the ethical boundaries of digital interventions. The activity linked computer science, art education and civics. Among other things, the students prepared quiz presentations for their classmates, based on which they researched and guessed what the city was like after the retouching and removal of its landmark.   <\/p><h6><strong>3. When the voice of the past comes alive<\/strong><\/h6><p>Using tools such as MagicSchool.ai and ElevenLabs, the students generated authentic speeches by famous personalities and analysed their content and emotions. Pupils prepared not only the text for the generator, but also the emotions that the AI can process into a voice. The content was to generate text that encourages young people to fight for their dreams.  <\/p><\/section><h6><strong>4. When pictures speak for those who are silent<\/strong><\/h6><p>Pupils created a &#8216;silent story&#8217; on selected school topics using generative tools with consistent characters and settings. They then filled in bubbles\/thoughts in a graphic editor to create a short comic that conveyed an emotion or situation without the spoken word <\/p><h6><strong>5. When tradition meets AI: patterns for the future<\/strong><\/h6><p>A fusion of folklore and artificial intelligence. Pupils brought traditional Slovak ornaments to life through graphic tools such as Adobe Firefly and Canva Mockups.  They created different graphics applicable to different objects (clothing, promotional items, book covers, &#8230;) Together they created a portfolio that can be transformed into commercial items that can be sold on different portals.<\/p><p> <\/p><hr><h4><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Workshop and discussion: AI in language work, in teacher preparation for the lesson, in pupil work in the classroom. Safety and the future of AI in school and education <br><\/span><\/h4><p>The workshop introduced the practical use of artificial intelligence in education. Participants learned about the ways AI can support teachers in planning, differentiation and assessment, as well as students in developing language skills and creativity. The workshop highlighted that AI has not come to replace the teacher, but to test the teacher&#8217;s ability to shape pupils&#8217; thinking, curiosity and values. Pupils showed a high level of interest in AI topics, demonstrating the ability to work creatively and critically with modern tools. The activities developed not only digital literacy but also creativity, teamwork and the ability to link traditional values with current technologies.  <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teachers present at the open sessions appreciated the methodological support and the demonstrations of practical AI-supported activities, which they will further implement in their teaching subjects. The event also contributed to the development of a culture of innovation at the school and to strengthening cooperation between schools in the region. <\/span><\/p><p> <\/p><hr><h4><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Conclusion<\/span><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI days at the Private Primary School in \u017dilina confirmed that artificial intelligence can be a powerful tool for education if it is used creatively, responsibly and with respect to ethical principles. The event fulfilled its objectives and represents a significant contribution to the development of digital transformation of education at the regional level. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the future, the school plans to continue to actively use all purchased licenses and AI tools in computer science, mathematics, and other subjects.
